Police inquiries after Pather’s weekend street rammy
Police are appealing for information following a large-scale disturbance in Pather over the weekend.
Around 2.45pm on Sunday, a large group of men and women were observed standing and appeared to be arguing and causing annoyance in Rannoch Drive.
Police have said there was reports of a disturbance but that there was no injuries or arrests made at the time.
However, police are keen to speak to anyone who has any information regarding the incident to help inquiries.
Officers are also hunting a gang of youths who set fire to a play park in Gowkthrapple in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Around 1am on Sunday, a fire was observed in the decking/ seating area of the play park in Stanhope Place.
A number of youths were spotted in the play park at this time.
Police are asking the public to assist them with their inquries.
Police have also launched an investigation after a car was set on fire in Motherwell in a late-night attack.
Between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, September 13, a red-coloured Audi motor vehicle was damaged by fire.
The incident happened outside a property in Emily Drive, Motherwell.
The motor vehicle was extensively damaged during the incident.
Finally, between 4.30pm on Thursday, September 14, and 8.10am the following day, a theft of fuel pumps and fuel was reported from a excavator which was at a site in Murdostoun Gardens, Wishaw.
