Allanton Parish Church service, Discovery club and creche will be held in the church this Sunday at 12.30pm.

This will be a harvest thanksgiving service held in the church on Sunday and parishioners are asked to bring along or hand into the church any non-perishable goods which will then be donated to the local food bank to be handed out to those in need. Mothers’ and toddlers’ group meets in the church hall on Tuesday mornings at 9.30am, with the Women’s Guild meeting in the annex in the afternoon at 2pm. Karate class is held in the church hall on Wednesdays at 6.30pm. Street dance classes are held in the church hall on Thursdays at 6pm to 7pm, and from 7pm to 9pm. Youth group meets in the Senior Citizens’ Centre on Fridays, from 7pm to 9pm. Women’s guild will resume their meetings in the church hall on Tuesday, October 3, at 2.30pm, when all members both new and old will be welcome. Miners’ Social Club Country music night on Saturday will see entertainment from Carson City, followed by Sunday night dancing to Bill McFarlane.

Metafit class will be held on Tuesday at 7pm.

There is a double session of bingo on a Thursday nights followed by play your cards right.

The club can be booked for private functions such as birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, etc.
