MOTHERWELL LATEST LEAGUE STILL THE BIGI ONE Gael says Well can’t be distracted by Gers semi-final

- Michael Temlett

Gael Bigirimana insists Motherwell’s Betfred Cup semifinal clash with Rangers is not a priority for the Steelmen right now.

When asked if he fancied lifting the League Cup, Bigirimana said: “Anything is possible and we’ve just got to leave it until we get there.

“We have to focus on the next game and when the semi-final comes we’ll have to tackle that obstacle when it comes.

“We’ve got a good group and we’ll just take each game as it comes and we go to fight in every game and make sure people know we mean business.

“There’s not an easy game in this league and if the team comes in with a certain mentality then teams can turn you around.

“Every single game, every single weekend you have to be focused and respect the opponent and the rest is about what happens on the pitch.”

Bigirmana’s move to Motherwell from Coventry raised a lot of eyebrows in the summer but the 23-year-old says he is
