A new start for new year ... hope it’s a great one

Happy New Year! I would just like to wish all of my readers all the very best for 2018.

It’s the start of a new year and I’m already very excited about it.

I love the blank slate of a brand new year – even if it is full of resolutions that I know I will never keep.

Healthy eating and exercise are at the top of the list – as usual – so we will see how long I last this time.

I must dig my Nutri Bullet out the cupboard and blow the dust off it ... now where is it?

The year is starting on a high for me with another fantastic award nomination.

I’m a finalist again for The Scottish Wedding Awards in the Make up Artist of the Year category.

I was delighted to win the title for the Glasgow region last year, and this will be my third time being shortlisted as a finalist.

It is the best feeling ever to reach the finals and what makes it all the more special is that it comes down to nominations from the brides I have worked with throughout the year, so it really means so much to me.

To win last year was the happiest and proudest moment of my career – ever –so thank you so much to all the amazing brides who voted for me – I really appreciate it.

The event is coming up very soon so I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
