Cambusneth­an Old and Morningsid­e Parish Church The church will be joined by the congregati­on of Cambusneth­an North Church for their joint new year’s communion service on Sunday, January 7 at 11.30am. All members and their friends and family are invited to join the congregati­on for this service. Mr Ian White, church minister continues his role as locum and will cover pulpit and pastoral duties during this time. He can be contacted on 01555 890704 for arrangemen­ts of any visits required. Cambusneth­an Club Entertainm­ent for members and friends begins with social dancing in the concert hall plus cash bingo on Thursdays. Friday sees cabaret and dancing plus bingo. Saturday sees cabaret and dancing in the concert hall with guest vocalists. Bingo, snowball and treasure chest. Pre-show meals are available for parties on Saturdays. Struthers Pentecosta­l Church Weekly meetings are held every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Old Gospel Hall in Bonkle Road.

Bonkle

Bonkle Parish Church service, Sunday school and creche will be held at 12 noon this Sunday. Speak to the minister if you know of anyone who may require a pastoral visit from the minister. Charity shop at Manse Road, Newmains will be open from Monday, January 8 between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Food bank thanks everyone for their continued support and is open in the village on Wednesday afternoons at 1pm. Coltness Guild meet on Mondays at 1.45pm in Bonkle Church hall. Computer club is held in the church on Mondays at 10am and 1pm with badminton in the big hall at 7.30pm. Men’s and ladies club meets on Wednesdays in the church hall at 7pm. Thursday club meets on Thursday afternoons at 2pm in Bonkle Church hall. Ladies fellowship will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, January 9 when they will welcome guest Marion Allison who will speak on the Reformatio­n.
