Easter fun
There’s no need to hunt for eggcellent kids’ events in North Lanarkshire this Easter.
CultureNL has fun days, drop- in arts activities and workshops running from March 29 to April 13 as part of its Let’s Go Easter programme.
Family films can be found at Airdrie Town Hall where, from Friday March 30 to Thursday April 5, the Peter Rabbit movie will be showing in a relaxed environment.
For those seeking active adventures, North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre is hosting a Family Fun Day on Monday April 2, including animal handling, face painting and Easter crafts.
Creative kids can also be kept busy with day workshops, such as Sound Creation music masterclass, running April 4 and 5 in Wishaw Musicworks; Big Bird ceramics workshop, running April 4 and 5 in Pather Artworks; Animake-shun 3D printing workshop, running April 4 and 5 in Summerlee Photomedia Studio, Superheroes – Animation with Lego will be held on April 9, 11 and 12 in Summerlee Photomedia Studio; Roving Reporters Drama Workshop will run April 9 to 12 in Airdrie Town Hall, and Just Art… Camp will be held in Summerlee Museum from April 10 to 12.
As well as these activities, drop-in events will take place across local libraries, museums and community centres, at which kids are welcome to play for a few minutes or hours.
