Senior citizens’ group are holding a bingo night on Thursday in Netherton Community Centre. Admission for adults costs £1; kids 50p, and includes pie and peas served at the interval. Doors open at 6.30pm, for eyes down at 7.30pm.

Orange Halls Events begin tonight with the Craigneuk Undaunted Purple Heroes LOL 68 meeting in the hall at 7pm. Followed by Craigneuk Imperial Ladies Flute Band practise on Thursdays at 7.30pm. New members are welcome and tuition is available. There is bingo on Monday nights, for eyes down at 7.30pm. All welcome, and Craigneuk True Defenders Flute Band practise sessions starts at 7.30pm on Tuesdays.

Bonkle

Celebratio­n of Hope event The event, which will feature Will Graham (Billy Graham’s grandson), will be staged at Falkirk Stadium on Friday. The church are running a bus and no charge will be made for tickets on the bus. All welcome. Learning Disabiliti­es conference This year’s event will be held in St Matthew’s Church, Tay Street, Perth on Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. It costs £15 and includes lunch. Sing and Sizzle Wishaw’s local area mission committee are holding their annual Sing and Sizzle event at Bonkle Church on Sunday, from 3pm to 5pm. There will be songs, food, games and activities for the whole family, and all will be made welcome. World church committee would like the Kirk Session to engage with and learn from its partners in Kwahu Presbytery by attending a meeting in Motherwell’s St Andrews Parish Church next Saturday, June 23, from 10am to 1pm. Bonkle walking group will meet at Bonkle Church at 2.15pm next Sunday, June 24, for a walk around Murdostoun Castle; for more informatio­n, speak to Matthew Gray at Bonkle Church. Praise Gathering 2018 Over 300 singers from 140 churches across the country will take part in the event, which will be hosted in Perth Concert Hall on Saturday and in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall next Sunday, June 24.
