Calderhead High School parent council are now on holiday. The next meeting will be held in September. If you are a parent or guardian of a pupil, you can come along and observe one of their meetings. Shotts and District Rotary Club have their meetings every Wednesday evening in the Station Hotel, Shotts. For further informatio­n about any Rotary Club matter, contact David McCloy, the secretary, on 0796120487­1. EU Congregati­onal Church the morning service on Sunday will take place in the church at the usual time of 11.30am. Salvation Army Corps the friendship club meets on Tuesdays, from 1pm to 3pm, all other clubs are now on holiday for the summer. Bon Accord Club The club are taking new bookings, so please get in touch if you would like to hold an event there. The function hall is available to hire for events and weddings. Singer GeeGee Wilson will be in the club on Saturday night. Bingo is played at 8pm on Wednesday and Friday’s and 10pm on Saturday. The AGM will be held in the pavilion on Tuesday, July 10, at 7pm. Lodge St John 471 The regular meetings of the lodge are now in recess and will resume later in the year. 32 Social Club Entertainm­ent for members and guests is as follows: The annual district masters parade will take place on Friday, July 6. Members are asked to assemble in the hall at 6.40pm, in preparatio­n to move off at 6.45pm. The return parade will leave from master’s house, for assembly at 8.05pm and will move off at 8.10pm, before proceeding to the hall. On Saturday, July 7, the annual district masters parade will assemble at 19 Cove Crescent at 8am, and move off at 8.05am, before it then proceeds to the hall for the Boyne celebratio­ns service, which will be held at approximat­ely 8.50am. Also taking place on the Saturday, the Boyne celebratio­n parade will assemble at 9.20am and move off at 9.30am, before it proceeds to the Brandy Park for a service of thanksgivi­ng. It will then assemble at 12.30pm, before moving off at 12.45pm and parading through the town. The evening return parade will assemble at Baton Road at approximat­ely 6.25pm, before moving off at
