Wheeling in for the big event
Record-breaking long-distance British cyclist, adventurer, broadcaster, documentary maker and author Mark Beaumont is the keynote speaker at this year’s Lanarkshire Business Conference.
Also attending are Liz Cameron OBE, chief executive of the Scottish Chamber of Commerce, whose strategic leadership and visionary focus in senior positions in the private sector are widely acclaimed, and inspirational entrepreneur and business leader Lord Haughey OBE, who will share his experience on how he grew his business into the multi-million pound success it is today.
The free conference is open to all businesses in Lanarkshire and takes place onthursday, August 30, from 9am to 1.30pm at the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre in Blantyre.
The closing date to book places is Friday, August 24, and companies can book online via www.eventbrite.co.uk.
Others speaker on the day include Anne Hilarion, who as part of Scottish Enterprise Innovation Support Service and local businessman Ken Diamond from Advanced Sampling Process Instruments Ltd.
The conference will be hosted by experienced broadcaster Nicky Marr.
