The most caring lady I’ve ever met

- Lynn Love

“She’s an absolute diamond.”

That is just one of the reasons that Chloe Campbell gave for nominating her gran Jennifer Campbell for our Say it with Flowers competition.

Jennifer got in touch with the Wishaw Press to nominate her beloved gran for being her rock over the years.

Mum-of-two Chloe, who lives three doors away from her gran on Stewart Crescent, Newmains, said the pair are very close.

She added: “My gran is an absolute diamond. She brought me up and has always been there for me when I need her.

“She’s the most caring and selfless lady I’ve ever met.”

Retired Jennifer now spends most of her free time looking after her family.

She and her husband David had three children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Chloe added: “The family are my gran’s world. She goes out her way every single day to care for everyone of us.

“She’s also a carer for my elderly and disabled grandad which she does without any complaints. “She’s one in a million. “She’s always helping anyone who needs helped and never puts herself first.

“We all can’t thank her enough for what she does for us.”

Jennifer said she was honoured when she found out Chloe had nominated her.

She added: “I was very shocked. It was a lovely surprise and I was really touched Chloe had went out her way to do that. The flowers are really nice. It’s a lovely treat.”
