I want to take on Rangers

-

Davidturnbull is hoping and praying that he gets the nod to face Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox this weekend, where he fully intends to strut his stuff in front of 50,000 supporters.

The Steelmen drew 3-3 with Gerrard’s men at Fir Park back in August and Turnbull has vowed to take the game to the Light Blues if Robinson lets him loose in Govan.

He said:“i’m the kind of player who just looks to get on the ball as much as possible and keep things ticking over.

“I try to express myself as much as I can and hopefully that comes along with the rest of the team being able to do that too.

“It’s not easy when the team has been struggling but you just need to dig in and get other boys to dig in too.

“From there you can hopefully get on the ball, pass it and make chances.

“I don’t see any reason why we can’t go to Ibrox and have a real go at Rangers.

“It will be a tough place to go obviously but they haven’t been doing so well either so hopefully we can go there and play well again and get a result.

“We’ve got a result against them already this season and hopefully we can do it again.

“It will be a tough test but we’ll go and give it a good go. I’m not sure if I’ll be playing yet but it will be brilliant if I am.

“There will be 50,000 people there and you won’t experience much better than that in your career. “I don’t let things like that faze me in the way I play.”
