College options for school-leavers
New College Lanarkshire is offering school-leavers the chance to make the grade after receiving their exam results.
The college has set up a dedicated clearing section on its website for the last remaining places on a wide range of courses across its six campuses including Motherwell.
From entry-level courses to taking the first step on the pathway to a degree, there are hundreds of options for qualifications and progression routes.
Around 135,000 candidates across Scotland will receive the results of their National, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications ontuesday, August 6.
And the college’s website is updated daily with available courses that are designed to give learners a‘skillset for life’.
There is still availability at Motherwell and Hamilton campuses in Accounting & Administration, Beauty & Hair, Business Management & Marketing, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computing, Construction, Electrical & Electronic, Fabrication &Welding, Hospitality & Professional Cookery, Make-up Artistry, Performing Arts, Photography, Social Sciences, Sport, and Supported Learning.
The Engineering faculty has courses ranging from Bricklaying and Computer Aided Design to Electrical Engineering andwelding.
