Comedy quartet at The Therapy Room

-

Join Patrick Rolink, Jamie Macdonald, Paul Mcdaniel and Ray Bradshaw for a night of hilarious comedy, as The Therapy Room returns to Motherwell Theatre on Saturday, August 17, at 8pm.

The night will kick off with Patrick Rolink, ‘The Big Man’ of Scottish comedy, who has performed in the dizzying heights of Las Vegas, San Francisco, Toronto and New York.

Following Pat is Jamie Macdonald, the comedian who made a name for himself through his first Fringe show, titled That Funny Blind Guy.

Hi s s e t p ro m i s e s tales of misadventures, misunderstandings and personal injury.

Also taking to the stage is Paul Mcdaniel, Belfast’s funniest export, who brings his sharp and dry taste to Motherwell.

Rounding up the set is double Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist, Ray Bradshaw, who has performed sell out solo festival shows in Edinburgh, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

Looking forward to the night, Pat reflected upon the Therapy Room’s name.

He said: “Comedy is a medicine because it gives you a different outlook on how to see things. If similar things happen in the future, you always have that wee recollection back to the comedy club and think ‘Aye, I’m not the only one’.

“Ever since we started doing gigs in Motherwell, I’ve never had a bad night, and the audience contribute to that as much as the comedians.

“If anybody’s never been to a comedy club before, or a comedy night, Motherwell Theatre is the perfect starting point.”
