“The Miracle Foundation are offering support to our young people in dealing with grief so they can overcome it and grasp all of life’s opportunities.
“LANDED are giving young people nonpatronising, sensible and relatable advice they need in their formative years to make sure they make informed choices.
“I hope all these wonderful charities can make their way to the finals and bring a trophy back home to Motherwell and Wishaw.”
Now in its 14th year, the Scottish Charity Awards highlight the best and most effective charity organisations and individuals from the past year, celebrating those who make a difference in our communities.
There are eight award categories – Charity of the Year, Charity Champion, Demonstrating Digital, Pioneering Project, Terrific Trustee, Leading Light, Celebrating Communities and Cracking Campaign – with the winners to be decided by a panel of judges and announced at an awards ceremony on Friday, June 12 at the EICC in Edinburgh.
All finalists will then be entered into the running for the People’s Choice Award, giving members of the public a chance to vote for their favourite finalist to win.
