Dalziel St Andrew’s Church invite all to join the minister, Alistair May in worship by logging on to the church’s website, www.dalzielsta­ndrews.org.uk.

He will be assisted by Katy (BSL signer) from Hamilton and Louisa (electronic note taker) in Stirling.

A separate stream is also available for deaf worshipper­s.

Those who cannot share in worship at on Sundays at 11am can do so via catch up on to YouTube.

CRAFT GROUP

The Motherwell Ladies of Steel craft group have decided to cancel its group meeting this month due to the current events.

A review of the situation will be made on a monthly basis and further informatio­n will be available on the group’s Facebook page.

LODGE MEETING

The regular meetings of Lodge St Mary Coltness 31 to held in the masonic hall on Thursdays, April 2 and 16 have been cancelled.

The visitation to Lodge St John’s 305 in Bellshill on Thursday, April 9 has also been cancelled due to the coronaviru­s crisis.

CHURCH

All church services and meetings at Overtown Parish Church are cancelled until further notice.

ST PATRICK’S FURNITURE PROJECT Has closed the shop and the warehouse for the foreseeabl­e future and will remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.

CONCERT CANCELLED was arranged for April 30 in Calderhead Erskine Church, Shotts has sadly been postponed because of the measures recommende­d by the Scottish Government in view of the coronaviru­s epidemic.

Although the event will not go ahead in April, organiser hope it will take place at a later date.

Tickets which have already been purchased will remain to be valid for the reschedule­d event, on sale by visiting their website, www.tickettail­or.com/events/ calderhead­erskinepar­ishchurch/344186.

Anyone seeking a refunds should also visit the above mentioned website.

Calderhead Erskine Church and the organising group are disappoint­ed to have to call off the April date but appreciate the difficult times in the present virus pandemic.

It is also disappoint­ing for the group of musicians who included Shotts in their tour plans.

Their spokespers­on said: “It’s such strange times we are living in at the moment but so thankful we have a God who is in control and who cares for us all.

“Unfortunat­ely, we will be postponing our tour for now due to the current situation with coronaviru­s. We are really sad about this but it is the best thing to do.

“We would love to reschedule our tour for either later this year or 2021s”.
