Steelmen’s signing spree
Motherwell have made their first summer signings after the captures of Rickie Lamie, Jordan White and Nathan McGinley.
Left-back Lamie joins on a two-year deal following two successful seasons with Premiership rivals Livingston and the 26-year-old is reunited at Fir Park with his former Almondvale team-mate Declan Gallagher.
White - who also played for Livingston – has joined from Championship outfit Inverness, where he scored 25 times over two years.
And defender McGinley arrives from English League Two outfit Forrest Green Rovers.
White said:“I’m buzzing to get started and looking forward to the challenge ahead.
“I’ve had to wait a while to get the opportunity to play in the Premiership and I couldn’t think of a better place to start.
“It’s a club that really excites me in the way they go about their business on and off the park, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.” Lamie, who will wear the number four jersey, said:“It will be a bit strange coming in to a new club, given the present circumstances, but I’m excited at being able to meet up with the boys in training.”
McGinley, who became the latest signing on Monday, said:“It’s a chance for me to come and develop my game further, and work with a coach in Stephen Robinson who has a track record of making players better.
“It’s my first experience of playing in Scotland. But I’ve heard so many good things about Motherwell and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
