LivingwithCOVIDhelp
Dear Editor,
Lymphoma Action, the only UK charity dedicated to lymphoma are hosting a free Living with COVID-19 webinar on Thursday, May 5, from 10am to 11am.
People with lymphoma, the most common blood cancer, were recognized as being clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19.
Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and the busy summer months are approaching, people may have different thoughts about the risk of COVID-19, and the measures they want to take to protect themselves and others.
The live Q&A webinar speaker panel will include Dr Graham Collins, a Consultant Haematologist and Lymphoma Lead, who will answer medical and practical questions.
Gillian, who is living with lymphoma, will provide a personal insight and talk about her experience of having COVID-19 and lymphoma.
They will be joined by Psychologist, Angela Waind who will discuss how to adjust and move forward in a COVID-19 world.
Chairing the webinar will be
Dallas Pounds, Services Director at Lymphoma Action.
Everybody is likely to feel differently about the risk of COVID-19, some people might be keen to return to a more ‘normal’ way of living, while others might be anxious about mixing with other people.
If you would like to find out more, Lymphoma Action has a wealth of information and guidance available on how to keep yourself safe on its guidance and restrictions for COVID-19 page.
