EXCLUSIVE screening of Dolphin School’s critically acclaimed 5* Edinburgh Fringe hit Tales from the Tent will be shown this Friday.

Tales From The Tent was written and directed by Head of Drama at Dolphin School, Judy Seall and is an hour-long piece, examining the experiences of refugees, and the importance of story-telling when you have left everything behind.

The show was performed by a talented cast of 20 current and exDolphin children aged seven to 18 and saw audiences of 55+ people at each show, during its run at the Edinburgh Fringe last summer.

“The plight of refugees and asylum seekers is given a refreshing twist by the talented youngsters… these youngsters are captivating with high-energy confident performances, superb ensemble work and strong use of physical theatre,” noted Robin Strapp from The British Theatre Guide

And audience member Tom Bishton said: “This performance features an outstanding group of young actors from Dolphin School who are at the top of their game with their show and are comparable to most good adult performances.”

Judy Seall, Head of Drama at Dolphin School said, “The children were amazing all week and I am so proud of their hard work, commitment and talent.”

The screening is a free event that is open to the whole community and starts at 6pm. Email headspa@dolphinschool. com to confirm your attendance.
