Free cat neutering campaign

AN ANIMAL charity in Wokingham and Bracknell has launched a campaign to offer free neutering for cats throughout September.

Bracknell & Wokingham District Cats Protection is offering a free neutering and microchip service at a number of local veterinary practices throughout the month, and is encouragin­g residents with cats to take up the offer.

Pet owners will be eligible to take advantage of the campaign, regardless of financial circumstan­ces, by simply applying for a voucher during the month of September.

Vouchers can then be redeemed at any of the following vets until the end of October:

Denton Vets, 30 Denton Road, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 2DX

Shinfield Vets, Shinfield Road,

Reading, Berkshire, RG2 9BE

Moor Cottage Vets, London Road, Binfield, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG42 4AA

Forest House Vets, 28 Clewer Hill Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 4BS

Family Friends Vets, 19-21 Elmshott Lane, Cippenham, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 5QS

Cats and kittens must be at least four months old, and weigh more than two kilograms, to be eligible for neutering or microchipp­ing.

To apply for a voucher, please contact Bracknell & Wokingham District Cats Protection before the end of September by emailing neutering@bracknell.cats.org.uk or call the charity’s centre on 03453 714 212; lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
