Borrow The Wokingham Paper from the library

-

YOU CAN now borrow The Wokingham Paper from the borough’s libraries.

Your favourite weekly newspaper is one of more than 7,000 publications from 101 countries and 60 different languages that are available from a new service being offered to book borrowers.

All Wokingham Borough library computers have been set up to allow visitors to log on to Press Reader, a special online tool to enable people to read a host of magazines and newspapers wherever they are in the world.

Every library card holder is able to access the site from their own laptop, tablet or smartphone.

To do this, visit www.pressreader.com, click on the sign in option, then the Library and Group button, search for Wokingham Libraries and click on the logo. After that, visitors will be taken to a screen that allows them to enter their library card number.

First time visitors will be asked to create a free account with their email address and entering a password. They will then be logged in for 30 days. After the month has expired, users will need to log in again.

It’s also possible to use Press Reader on

Library computers, no account is needed for this.

Visitors can read digital versions of the publications that look exactly like their printed counterparts or access text only versions.

Publications include national newspapers, specialist magazines such as Flight and BBC Wildlife and, of course, your Wokingham Paper.

The service launched last week.
