Perfect in the positive

-

PREPARATION is the name of the game my friend. Last week’s article should have set you up nicely for what I hope was an absolute belter of a week.

“Optimise your MIND, BODY and your LIFE by being MORE PREPARED.”

The words above were some of my final ones from my column last week. For me, it is all about making changes to the key areas above and those changes will truly make your life truly awesome.

Optimise your MIND Optimise your BODY Optimise your LIFE

Every Coach has their areas that they like to focus on to get the job done. You have to have some form of focus or way of doing things that allows this. It’s all about having processes and systems in place.

You know by now that my other system is my HABIT M.A.S.T.E.R.Y formula and this is all based around the areas that will ultimately make your MIND optimised, your BODY optimised and your LIFE therefore optimised.

I want to give you some client updates this week that you may or may not resonate with:

One of my younger clients recently was placed with the Reading Football Club Schools programme.

An awesome male client of mine got the job he wanted within the same time frame that he also recorded his lowest ever body fat readings.

A female legend that I see once per week has never ever been able to keep to a training programme. Well, we have been able to keep our program going for over two months now and she is going from strength to strength. A client of mine is currently in the process of expanding his business. With many trips and a very hectic work schedule we have been able to stick with our sessions every week and his weight is the lowest it has ever been.

I have a client who struggles with self-esteem. We set her up on a meditation and affirmation self-help programme. She is now happier, more confident and really focused on her goals.

One of longest serving clients recently set the goal of wanting his waist as small as possible and we are well on the way to achieving that. I believe as it stands we are now only 1cm away so we are fully expecting him to smash that goal by July.

A client works for a US-based company and his timings are really all over the place.

We focused on achieving daily movement with 5-15 minute metabolic workouts every day. This is going great and every now and again he achieves a 30-minute workout which is an awesome achievement bearing in mind he was doing nothing before we worked together.

The list could go on it really could.

The fact is everyone that works with me achieves and improves their life but it takes two to tango and my clients are truly AWESOME.

Everyone I work with; we optimise their MIND, BODY and their LIFE.

When you focus on the Mind and Body… LIFE just gets better.

Opportunities come knocking.

You wake up with more energy.

You seem to find time to gets things done. Positivity just seems to spread and people start commenting how great you look.

It’s an amazing feeling.

I suppose what I am trying to say is it feels great when you work with people that are on the same wavelength as you.

I was talking just today with a client about change and getting out of her comfort zone.

You see… personal growth happens when you go outside of your comfort zone looking for insights.

If you stay in your comfort zone all the time you will not grow as a person as you will be playing it safe too often.

I recently completed some happiness training and key strengths training focusing on personality characteristics and how if we focus on these areas we can grow as a person.

Going back to what we were talking about earlier; when life gets better and we grow as a person, opportunities come knocking, you wake up with more energy, you find time to get things done and positivity just seems to spread and that Is an amazing feeling.

“According to Positive Psychology research findings, you are happiest when you are living consistently with your virtues and utilising your signature strengths to successfully craft your life. Conversely, when you are experiencing unpleasant emotions (about yourself), you are most likely behaving inconsistently with your virtues or (about others) someone else is behaving in ways that are inconsistent your virtues.”

Great words…well what values can we work on that will help us grow as a person which I know you want if you are a reader of the “Every Step Counts” column:

Find a quiet place where you can think uninterrupted about your life and ask yourself… What do I have in my life that I want more of?

What is something that I don’t have that I would like added to my life?

What do I have or do that I would like to eliminate?

What do I always dream about that I have not yet taken steps towards doing?

What kind of person am I and what do I truly value in my life?

What could I do to be different in my life?

I know… I know…

Deep, very deep but you know what this column is all about:

GETTING OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND BEING THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE.

This week, get out of your comfort zone and start thinking about the areas in your life that you would like to be better at.

Over the coming weeks, I am going to explore the areas above starting with love of learning and give you a blueprint to really develop areas that I know just WORK.

How do I know?? Because I do this stuff day in, day out and live and breathe it…

I LOVE IT.

Have a great week and I look forward to helping you explore yourself more in the weeks to come.

Everything you have ever wanted is one step outside of your comfort zone.

Let’s step outside together and GROW TOGETHER!
