Woodley Royals slump again

WOODLEY UNITED ROYALS suffered a second-half collapse as they slumped to their fifth straight Premier Division defeat.
David Bill, Dylan Chaffin and James Elderton all netted for Woodley, who trailed 3-2 at halftime at Wraysbury Village, only to lose 8-3, taking their goals conceded tally to 36 from seven games.
WOKINGHAM AND EMMBROOK RESERVES also continue to struggle as they lost 4-1 against Mortimer at Lowther Road with Sam Cooley netting the only Sumas goal.
In Division One, a Dan Townson brace fired HURST to a 2-1 victory over winless Reading YMCA Rapids.
HARCHESTER HAWKS remain bottom of Division Two following a 4-1 home loss against Phoenix Old Boys.
The Hawks are still seeking their first points of the campaign following promotion.
In the same league, goals from Callum Alliston, Gregg Smith and
Joe Wigmore earned WARGRAVE a 3-2 win at Marlow United Reserves while AFC CORINTHIANS were trounced 8-1 at Mortimer Reserves.
Down in Division Three,
Rhys York scored four goals as TWYFORD AND RUSCOMBE thrashed WOODLEY UNITED A 9-1 at Bulmershe Pavilion.
Other goals came from Sean Kelly, Nathan Manser (2), Andy Benyon and Lee Fyrth while
Alex O’Keefe scored the Woodley consolation.
