WITH the rising cost of living and the recent surge in energy prices, we’re all trying to find ways to save money at home. One thing we can do to start reducing household bills is to think about insulating our homes, and perhaps upgrading old heating systems. So if you’re looking for trusted advice on improving your home energy efficiency, you need look no further than Wokingham.

InstaGroup has been based in Berkshire for over 40 years, but we operate all over the UK through a Network of approved installers. We’re committed to improving energy efficiency, from insulating local homes to delivering on large-scale developments involving flats, offices and shops. We’re one of the leading installers in the country, providing insulation, acoustic systems and flooring for thousands of homes and landmark projects. National experience on your doorstep

We’re always happy to offer local residents the benefit of our advice, and can provide an expert home energy survey tailored to your property.

Our trained technicians can install Solid Wall insulation, Cavity Wall insulation and Loft insulation to help warm up your home and lower your energy bills. We also replace old and inefficient boilers, and we’re gearing up to provide low-carbon alternatives for home heating such as air source heat pumps and solar power.

All InstaGroup installations are approved and accredited by professional trade bodies and you can trust that our workmanship is guaranteed.

Trusted for projects large and small

We work with major contractors as well as homeowners, landlords and local councils, and have recently been involved in the high-profile redevelopment of both Battersea Power station and Elephant Park in London. These huge projects are using our acoustic flooring with underfloor heating, which is an industry-acclaimed solution.

Our acoustic flooring uses no concrete, which reduces the embodied carbon in the building, and most of our acoustic products are manufactured using recycled rubber tyres. We’re pleased to say that we prevent thousands of worn tyres from going to landfill every year: our installation at South Quay Plaza in Canary Wharf alone recycled over 11,000 lorry tyres.

Sustainable solutions for saving energy

It’s good to know that we’re not only ‘doing our bit’ to improve energy efficiency in buildings, we’re also helping to reduce the environmental impact of construction.

We’re committed to offering lifelong, sustainable solutions. We’re proud to say that more than 80% of the material we use to manufacture InstaGroup products is either recycled or comes from renewable sources, such as FSC-certified timber.

Pioneering the future of flooring

We also put our best foot forward with our environmentally-conscious flooring. Our development of dry adhesive and magnetic systems that don’t use noxious glues at installation are kinder to the environment, and support sustainability. They make re-lifting and re-using floor coverings faster and easier, and they reduce flooring waste. Our flooring products are all manufactured using recycled rubber too.

From residential buildings, retail and work spaces, to specialised flooring for sports and leisure, we’re revolutionising the flooring industry one step at a time.

Part of your community

We don’t just improve buildings and warm up homes across Wokingham – we get involved with the local community too. We currently sponsor two of the Yateley Youth football teams - The U13 Yateley Tigers and the U8 Yateley Pythons. You’ll also see us sponsoring the Gig on the Green in June along with the Blackwater Valley Cask and Cork Festival in September.

We look forward to sharing ways to help you save energy and bring down your household bills in our regular column. We’ll also keep you updated on any new government schemes that can help with energy efficiency.
