✢ this summer i’m… doing a few literary festivals to talk about my latest novel, A Shot in the Dark, but there’s also a week with friends in Dorset. I suppose I shouldn’t say this, but I’m really looking forward to a rest from writing!

Faith archer, a former JD Williams Don’t tell Me i can’t mentoree, is our brilliant new financial columnist (p142). she lives with her family in suffolk.
✢ What i love most about the british summer is… blue skies and long sunny days! I love sitting outside with a book while the garden is a riot of colour.
