PARKRUN

there are 1.49m people in the uk who have a visual impairment (vi) yet fewer than 10% are active at least once a week. this is why parkrun – the group that organises free volunteer-led runs – started their vi project. each visually impaired person runs with a volunteer running guide. lottery money has been spent on taster days and events to find runners willing to offer their services as guides.
