3 tips for WORKING TOGETHER
Ros Taylor, a clinical psychologist and visiting professor at Strathclyde Business School, says:
1 If it’s only the two of you running a business, have outside neutral advisors. Use them as arbiters in case of conflict of opinion.
2 Have formal meetings with each other. It shouldn’t be over coffee or over dinner. Take time to have meetings about work, as well as feedback meetings every couple of months.
3 Escape from each other. Have your own activities and friendships, especially when times are difficult and you’re stressed, as that’s when the worst behaviour comes out. >>
