exhibition at somerset house is dedicated to northern style and the crucial part it has played in shaping the global fashion industry. it will feature over 100 photographs, fashion garments and works of art from the likes of fashion designer Paul smith and graphic designer Peter saville (responsible for the sleeve designs of some of the most iconic records). 8 november4 February; somerset house.org.uk
