Your Icehotel itinerary
DAY1 flying to lapland You’ll take a direct morning flight from London Heathrow to Kiruna in Swedish Lapland, from where you’ll take a 20-minute transfer to nearby Jukkasjärvi. (For a supplement, an optional transfer by husky sled is available!) Here you’ll check in at the icehotel, where you’ll stay for the next three nights, and enjoy a guided tour of its stunning frozen interiors. each guest will spend one night in an ice room (upgrades to Art Suites and deluxe Suites are optional) and two nights in warm accommodation.
DAY2 Welcome to the icehotel today is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, perhaps by choosing one or more of the fantastic optional Arctic activities***, which include ice sculpting, husky sledding and cross-country skiing. Or you might prefer to treat yourself to a sauna ritual or a romantic starlit dinner. eXclUSiVe W&h eXperience this afternoon dr Melanie windridge will join you and give a fascinating talk about the folklore and mythology that surrounds the magical northern Lights**.
DAY3 enjoying the icehotel You will have more free time today to enjoy the brilliant optional activities – you could choose to go on a reindeer sleigh ride or learn from an expert how to take fantastic photographs of the northern Lights.
Or, if you prefer, you can spend the day exploring and enjoying your stunning Arctic surroundings. DAY4 fareWell to lapland You are free this morning to wander the sculpted rooms of the unforgettable icehotel one last time before you’re transferred to Kiruna for your direct flight back to London Heathrow.
