My HoMe last year i found myself in the middle of an acrimonious divorce. i hadn’t planned on moving from the home i raised my daughters in, but a friend convinced me to look at this place – a luxury duplex penthouse apartment with a firepit on the terrace and a fridge full of vodka and Champagne! My CoMMute My office is a 30-minute drive away. one of my daughters lives in london, so i call her on the way to work. on the way back, it’s the turn of the daughter who lives in New york. My favourite PlaCe i love walking to altrincham Market, which has reinvented itself to become a buzzy place full of food stalls and boutiques. BeSt tHiNg aBout liviNg Here i’m near fantastic shops and restaurants yet can be at the airport in minutes. tHe dowNSide bowdon is a suburban village so it can feel like everyone knows your business, especially my newfound single status. wHat i do iN My dowNtiMe i’m Jewish and love having friends over on a Friday for dinner. i’m the worst cook in the world so i hire a chef for the evening. other times i’ll enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace or play my baby grand piano.
