Money worries!

Can the Barton family come up with a plan to solve their financial woes?

-

Problems are mounting and the pressure is on for the Bartons to find a solution to their debt. But as usual Ross Barton, played by Michael Parr, is not sticking to the rule book. Here Michael, 30, tells us more…

Hi Michael! How bad are the Bartons’ finances?

Very bad – we’ve been paying double rent, Ross is on-off at the garage and he’s been giving all the money he has been making from stealing cars to Debbie for Sarah. Emma, in all her grief, has forgotten that she’s been paying for Wylie’s Farm, so we’re skint.

Your brother Finn even turns to being an escort! What happens?

It’s all a bit cloak and dagger for him, we’re not fully aware of the extent he’s willing to go to make a bit of Cheddar. Finn flees the date and runs somewhere that he knows – to the old house, Wylie’s Farm. He tries locking himself in and trips on a wire. And that’s when we find drug dealers have moved in and set up a big old cannabis farm.

But the Bartons seem united…

It’s been nicer to play because the scenes are more lighthearted and we’ve been reunited, like a family.

How do you think the brothers might react when their mum Emma’s secrets come out?

I don’t know how it will play out but you’ll see varied reactions. We’ve got such distinctive personalities.
