6am

I’ve got four kids. Taylor, 15, and Ruby, 14, are up first and get the school bus. Then Matilda, nine, and Dolly, five, wake up. If I’m working, it’s cereal and toast for breakfast, but at the weekend I’ll make bacon and eggs.

9am

Yes Chef is filmed near my house, so it’s the dream job. I go straight into hair and make-up. It’s nice being pampered because normally my hair is shoved in a bun, and we have a real giggle in the make-up room.

10am

The professional chef comes in. First up it’s Nigel Haworth. When I met the chefs, I was so star-struck. I’d watched all of them on TV. I was really intimidated because they all look very serious, but they were completely the opposite. I got to know them really well. It’s handy if you ever need a table at one of their restaurants!

11am

We kick off with the first challenge, where the contestants have to cook their signature dish. They are usually nervous, so I spend a bit of time making them feel at ease. Some have had a few disasters and you always feel sorry for them. We’ve even had tears.

1.30pm

We break for lunch. We have caterers but the food isn’t always the best, so luckily some of the chefs make us lunch. Theo Randall made the whole crew frittatas and we all helped chop onions and beat eggs. But all day I’m eating!

2.30pm

We get straight back into filming and in the next challenge the contestants are given the ingredients the for professional chef’s signature dish. I give the winner a little pep talk, as they’ll be in Friday’s final.

6pm

I head home to the kids and cook something for dinner. They all love sea bass. Everyone helps to clean up and Ruby bathes the little ones. Harry [Kewell, Sheree’s footballer husband] is away most of the time, so I do everything – but that’s my job, I’m a mum!

7.30pm

My two youngest go to bed while the older ones do their homework. I have a shower and pause anything on the telly that I want to watch. I like the soaps so have Emmerdale on [Sheree played Tricia Dingle]. I’m in bed by 10pm.
