Kate’s baby struggles
There are fresh fears for the Duchess of Cambridge following news she’s expecting again.
Kate, 35, mum to George, four, and Charlotte, two, has been left needing extra care after being struck down by the severe morning sickness she suffered in both her previous pregnancies.
Palace officials were forced to release news of her pregnancy earlier than intended after Kate had to cancel a royal engagement. ‘The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Garvidarum,’ an official said, describing the extreme nausea that left Kate hospitalised during her pregnancy with George.
Her struggles come at a difficult time, with George starting school for the first time and little Charlotte hitting the terrible twos. ‘Going through a pregnancy is extremely demanding for anyone’s body, but with the added strain of the severe morning sickness, it is taking its toll on Kate,’ an insider said. ‘Although Kate is over the moon,’ our source added, ‘she will undoubtedly have mixed emotions knowing that her body is about to be put under a huge amount of pressure once again. ‘It was a big decision for her to make. She loves the idea of having lots of children like William, but there was a lot to consider’. We wish Kate all the very best.
