Fans fear for ‘skinny’ Victoria
Many air their concerns as star looks noticeably thinner
Victoria Beckham has left fans concerned after being photographed looking slimmer than ever. The star, 43, was pictured wearing baggy clothes that swamped her tiny frame as she stepped out during New York Fashion Week.
Fans were quick to air their concerns for the mum-offour’s appearance, taking to social media to comment. ‘She is looking strained and even thinner than ever,’ one worried fan wrote. ‘Oh my… she is so so thin,’ said another. But it was Victoria’s tiny waist – accentuated by her loose, baggy jeans – that shocked fans the most. ‘I like Victoria but she hasn’t got any curves for those trousers to hang nice on. [She] needs a few more pounds on at least,’ one comment read. ‘Those jeans are not a good look on her frame. She should have downsized them a bit,’ someone else said. However, friends close to the fashion designer have told Woman’s Own that fans should not be too alarmed – saying Victoria’s recent weight loss is simply down to her gruelling work schedule, along with her eldest child Brooklyn, 18, moving to university in New York. Our insider said, ‘Victoria’s been working flat out on her collection and the pressure is so much that she often doesn’t have time to finish her food. Instead she eats on the go before going back to work. ‘And, like any devoted mum, she’s upset over Brooklyn no longer living at home. He’s her eldest and, while she is so proud of him, she misses him terribly and worries constantly for his safety in New York.’ However, our insider continued that Victoria is aware that she’s lost weight in recent months, saying, ‘She’s been working so hard recently, but has told pals that once her schedule calms down, her weight will go back up.’ After all, the notoriously healthy eater has previously said, ‘I can afford to eat. I expect a lot from my body and I’m never sick. You have to be kind to your body if you expect a lot from it.’ Wise words, Victoria!
