Post menopausal but I’ve had a period?!

QI am 59 and went through the change nearly a decade ago. Five years later, I had a bleed out of the blue. My doctor arranged an ultrasound and a biopsy, and I was given the all-clear. Everything settled down until this week, when I had what seems like a full-on period. Do I need more tests? Yes. Given that it has been five years since your previous bleed, your GP will almost certainly want to repeat tests or refer you to a gynaecologist.
