I hate my grandson’s name

QI have just become a granny for the first time, and am in love with my grandson. The only issue is his name. My daughter-in-law has given him a made-up name that she loves. It’s so bad that I’d rather call him by a nickname, than say it. Should I say something?

Aassociate it with the grandson you adore, so it won’t irritate as much. Until then avoid saying it by calling him a host of affectionate names but steer clear of offering your opinion on it.
