Cue Kew!

-

Garden-lovers will be delighted to know that both London’s Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, its wild botanic garden in West Sussex, are open to visitors – and both are free to healthcare workers. You will need to book a time slot in advance and must arrive within 45 minutes of that time, but once you’re in you can stay as long as you like. Adult entry is £9. Kew’s July highlights include its herbaceous borders. And if you’re visiting Wakehurst (£14.50 per adult), you’ll have 500 acres to explore, with the Coronation Meadow full of native wildflowers and grasses. Kew.org.
