My ‘go-to’ rem­edy

A well-stocked snack drawer for en­ergy boosts through the day. Al­monds, dried fruit, pop­corn and dark choco­late are al­ways in mine.

My favourite meal

A Tofu Thai curry; I’m a big fan of big flavours, so I like Thai, In­dian and Mex­i­can food. Be­ing a foodie makes it hard to pick one favourite, though, so I’d also choose teriyaki salmon coated in sesame seeds with steamed veg­gies.

How i keep fit and healthy

Lots of fruit and veg, min­i­mal booze, avoid­ing smoky en­vi­ron­ments and get­ting enough sleep – the lat­ter be­ing hard with a teething in­fant.

My per­fect day

A Sun­day with no plan. I’d start with scram­bled eggs and smoked salmon on toast, fol­lowed by a fam­ily walk in the woods, or a bike ride along the North Downs. Then a home-cooked roast, and a hot bub­ble bath to re­lax and re-charge for the week ahead. Bliss!
