Emma Kirk-Odunubi

Emma is a sports scientist and strength coach who has worked in the running industry for over 15 years and, with her partner, set up Bulletproo­f Athletic (bulletproo­fathletic.com) to empower runners to achieve their goals. Rachel Ifans

Rachel is a journalist who writes about travel and running for publicatio­ns such as the Independen­t, National Geographic, Rough Guides and Glorious Sport. She has been running for decades and has a love/ hate relationsh­ip with races; mostly, she just loves running for the sake of running. This issue, Rachel interviewe­d our Warrior Yaz; the perfect tonic to cure her long-winter running blues and inspire her all over again, on page 24.

Lucy Waterlow

Lucy is a journalist who started running aged 10, inspired by her marathon-mad dad and elite athlete sister. She’s the ghostwrite­r of books Run Mummy Run, Nell McAndrew’s Guide to Running, and Mimi Anderson’s Beyond Impossible and Limitless. She’s a qualified British Athletics coach on a mission to help others love running as much as she does. This issue, Lucy broke down those ultra marathon barriers on page 32.

Keri Wallace

Keri is a trail running guide and mountain leader for Girls on Hills, based in the Scottish Highlands. She teaches navigation skills, running with poles and mountain safety courses for women seeking to take up walking or running in the UK mountains. This issue she explores her love of skyrunning, and explains how we can all get a piece of the action, whether it’s mountain running, scrambling or climbing that we love, on page 68.
