FREELETICS

I tried the Freeletics app out after a 15-min sprint interval session on the treadmill. It was a really good endurance workout. I love that it has a timer so you can keep track of finishing times and personal bests. I chose the Athena workout, which is supposed to improve your energy levels. With five quick rounds of mountain climbers, sit-ups and squats, it definitely gave my core a much-needed workout that was perfect in combination with HIIT. As I used this app in the gym, I added a 10kg weight to my squats for extra resistance as I did find the non-weighted squats easy. What’s great about this app is that it suits any fitness level – you can make it as hard as you please. STAR RATING: ✰✰✰✰ ✰
