You’re not go­ing low enough

When your el­bows are at 90°, that’s a full dip. But go any fur­ther and you’ll risk in­jury.

You’re round­ing your chest

Keep your chest pushed up and open. Round­ing your chest or shoul­ders is a sign you’re lean­ing too far for­ward.

You’re go­ing too fast

Go­ing too quickly pre­vents your mus­cles be­ing ac­ti­vated. If you’re not feel­ing it through your chest and tri­ceps, then it’s not work­ing.
