EUROPE
■ LEROY SANE joined Bayern Munich on a five-year deal from Manchester City for an initial € 45 million. Bayern also signed18-year-old defender TANGUY KOUASSI from Paris Saint-Germain.
■ 17-year-old midfielder JUDE BELLINGHAM joined Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City for an initial £25 million.
■ Internazionale signed ACHRAF HAKIMI from Real Madrid for € 40 million plus € 5 million in add-ons, making the 21-year-old Morocco international, who has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund for two seasons, the most expensive defender in Inter’s history.
■ Former West Ham and Manchester City boss MANUEL PELLEGRINI replaced Rubi as coach of La Liga side Real Betis.
■ Now back in the Premier League, Leeds United turned HELDER COSTA’s loan into a permanent move, paying Wolves £16 million for the 26-year-old Portugal winger.
■ RB Leipzig signed striker HWANG HEE-CHAN from Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg, while defender BENJAMIN HENRICHS arrived on a one-year loan from Monaco.

■ Monaco’s Belgian satellite club Cercle Brugge appointed PAUL CLEMENT as coach.
■ France U21 striker AMINE GOUIRI joined Nice from Lyon for € 7 million, while Lille paid Ajax € 9 million for central defender SVEN BOTMAN.
■ RON JANS was handed a one-year deal as coach of Dutch side Twente, replacing Gonzalo Garcia.
■ Having guided Dundee United to promotion to the Scottish Premiership, ROBBIE NEILSON stepped back down to the Championship to manage Hearts for a second time. CALLUM DAVIDSON took charge of St. Johnstone.
■ Norway winger MOHAMED ELYOUNOUSSI returned to Celtic for another season on loan from Southampton.

■ STUART BAXTER, who resigned as coach of South Africa’s national side in August last year, took charge of Indian Super League side Odisha.
■ Colombian coach JORGE LUIS PINTO, who led Costa Rica to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2014, took charge of the United Arab Emirates national team.
