EUROPE: Liverpool face Atletico Madrid at Anfield, while Sheriff Tiraspol look to continue their remarkable Champions League run by hosting Internazio­nale.

Thursday November 4

EUROPE: The Europa League and Conference League continue. West Ham United travel to Brondby, Tottenham Hotspur face Vitesse and Marseille take on Lazio. SOUTH AMERICA: The 13th edition of the Copa Libertador­es Femenina gets underway.

ASIA: The final of the AFC Cup takes place. One of Al Muharraq (Bahrain) or Al Kuwait (Kuwait) will play either Nasaf (Uzbekistan) or Lee Man (Hong Kong).

FRANCE: Early Ligue 1 challenger­s Lens take on strugglers Troyes.

Saturday November 6

ENGLAND: In the first Manchester derby of the season, champions City travel to Old Trafford. GERMANY: RB Leipzig host Borussia Dortmund in a key clash at the top of the Bundesliga.

Sunday November 7

ITALY: In Serie A, the San Siro hosts the Derby della Madonnina

– aka the Milan derby.

SPAIN: Real Madrid face local upstarts Rayo Vallecano, La Liga’s 2021-22 surprise package. USA: The regular Major League Soccer season concludes.

Tuesday November 9

EUROPE: Emma Hayes’ Chelsea are in action in the Women’s Champions League. Elsewhere Juventus face Wolfsburg and Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Madrid.

Wednesday November 10

EUROPE: There’s more action from the Women’s Champions League, with holders Barcelona facing Hoffenheim, and Arsenal travelling to HB Koge in Denmark.

Thursday November 11

EUROPE: The final internatio­nal window of 2021 convenes. The Republic of Ireland face Portugal and Greece take on Spain.

ASIA: Australia and Saudi Arabia, the top two sides in Group B of Asia’s World Cup qualifying, meet. SOUTH AMERICA: The clash of arch-rivals Uruguay and Argentina tops the billing in South America’s next round of World Cup qualifying.

Friday November 12

EUROPE: Group I leaders England face third-placed Albania, Scotland can keep their dream alive with a trip to Moldova, while Italy face the Swiss in a Euro 2020 rematch.

Saturday November 13

EUROPE: Wales take on Group E’s bottom team Belarus at home. AFRICA: The final matchday of the second round of World Cup qualifying takes place, with key clashes including Algeria v Burkina Faso, Cameroon v Ivory Coast and South Africa v Ghana. CONCACAF: Arch-rivals USA and Mexico meet in Cincinnati, while El Salvador play Jamaica in another crucial World Cup qualifier.

Sunday November 14

EUROPE: There’s a key clash in Group H when the top two, Croatia and Russia, meet in Split. Similarly, Spain and Sweden go head-tohead at the top of Group B.

Monday November 15

EUROPE: England may have the chance to seal qualificat­ion in San Marino, while Scotland’s campaign ends with a tough game against already-qualified Denmark.

Tuesday November 16

EUROPE: Netherland­s and Norway meet at the top of Group G, and Wales host Belgium in Group E. ASIA: Lebanon v United Arab Emirates will be Group A’s key clash, while China must beat Australia to stay in the Group B race. CONCACAF: Jamaica seek to cause a big upset when they host USA. SOUTH AMERICA: Argentina take on rivals Brazil in Buenos Aires.

Wednesday November 17

EUROPE: Bayern Munich v Lyon is the headline fixture from another round of Women’s Champions League games, while Arsenal are also in action against HB Koge. CONCACAF: Canada host Mexico in another crucial World Cup qualifier in North America.

Thursday November 18

EUROPE: Wolfsburg face Juventus and Real Madrid host PSG in the Women’s Champions League. SOUTH AMERICA: The Copa Libertador­es Femenina reaches the quarter-final stage.

Friday November 19

GERMANY: The Bundesliga returns after the internatio­nal break with Bayern Munich visiting Augsburg. INDIA: The 2021-22 ISL season begins, with ATK Mohun Bagan hosting Kerala Blasters.

Saturday November 20

URUGUAY: The final of the Copa Sudamerica­na takes place at the Estadio Centenario, Montevideo, between Brazilian sides Athletico Paranaense and RB Bragantino. ENGLAND: The Premier League returns with Leicester City v Chelsea at lunchtime, followed by Liverpool v Arsenal in the evening. GERMANY: It’s the Berlin derby between Union and Hertha. USA: The play-in rounds of the MLS final stages begin, with the other games taking place over the following two days.

EUROPE: In the penultimat­e round of the Champions League group stage, Villarreal host Manchester United and Chelsea face Juventus. ASIA: The final of the AFC Champions League takes place.

Wednesday November 24

EUROPE: Manchester City face PSG for the second time this season, while Real Madrid travel to Sheriff Tiraspol seeking revenge for their Bernabeu defeat.

Thursday November 25

EUROPE: Europa League fixtures include Bayer Leverkusen v Celtic and Monaco v Real Sociedad. USA: The first MLS Cup Conference semi-final takes place.
