RM Yachts is launching a new flagship model, the 1370. As with all RMs she is built as an epoxy-impregnate­d plywood monocoque. She is available with either a lifting keel, a T-shaped fin keel or twin keels, the latter has a single rudder but the other versions have twin rudders.

The cockpit is sensibly laid out with crew safety in mind and winches well inboard at the companionw­ay. Aft, there are two wheels with the mainsheet track running between them.

Down below, she has a J-shaped galley, a fixed, forward-facing chart table, parallel seating in the saloon

The coachroof windows give a good view out and let plenty of light in. Up forward is a large double cabin with en suite heads and shower room. There's another heads aft, with a separate shower compartmen­t. Beneath the cockpit are two double cabins, but the option remains to make one of these into a useful 'technical room'.
