Dolphin 31, a ‘modern mini cruiser’

Regarding Fiona Hetherton’s request for ‘a modern mini cruiser on a budget’ (Jul 17) may I suggest she looks at a Dolphin 31? This was one of the most spacious, seaworthy semi-displacement yachts built at that time (1976-82) by Rank Marine. Only 40 were built so they’re not easy to find but I notice there is one for sale at the moment asking £12,500. There was one sold a year ago, which went for £10,000. I hope this may help in her search.
