GETTING THERE

Oban is two and a quarter hours’ drive from Glasgow. Bus services are frequent, but the best way to get there using public transport is by train. The West Highland Railway, snaking high above Loch Lomond, through Glen Falloch and along the shores of Loch Awe and Loch Etive, is one of the great railway journeys of the world.
