BISCAY WEATHER
Summer weather is often idyllic with gentle winds. Depressions tend to track broadly up the English Channel and high pressure is more likely as you work south.
Between Île de Groix and
Quiberon Bay, quirky north-easterly land breezes can turn brisk after midnight, especially on the mainland side of islands. Onshore swell can be more pronounced south of Île d’yeu and along the Spanish coast if there are distant Atlantic disturbances.
