For leaving your boat or for crew changes use:

One of the Brest marinas – I like Moulin Blanc. There are trains east to Morlaix and ferries and regular flights to the UK.

Lorient, opposite Île de Groix. Locmiquélic or Lorient city marinas are snug. Trains to Paris and ferries to the UK.

Vannes in the Morbihan, linked by high speed and regional trains. Port de Minimes in La Rochelle. Flybe flights to Southampton, Birmingham or Manchester.
