Fixed VHF with AIS receiver

Standard Horizon’s GX-6000E incorporates an AIS receiver into a fixed VHF with DSC. It can be networked with up to four wireless remote units. All the standard AIS functions are included and radio contact can be made quickly with a target using soft keys. Connectivity includes both NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 protocols. It’s ideal for use on a daysailer or RIB where an AIS transponder may not be necessary, but being able to ‘see’ other vessels, especially at night or in poor visibility could be a very useful aid to safety.
