Site manager wins award for his work

BARRATT Yorkshire East Site Manager Phil Hewitt, the man in charge at the housebuilder’s Lumley Park development in Castleford, has won an award for his workmanship.

Phil has scooped a Quality Award in the Pride in the Job campaign, organised by the National House-Building Council (NHBC). The awards programme seeks to find the best-run building sites in Britain.

Phil was judged on technical skill, workmanship, customer service and site safety and will now go on to the next round of the competition.

He says “The NHBC assessors check all the key stages from laying the foundations through to completion, so your work has to be first class throughout.”
