Pride in the job brings rewards

LOCAL builders are celebrating after winning National House Building Council’s Pride in the Job Awards.

Risby Homes’ site manager Richard Bettison was rewarded for a development at Oakwood, in Hessle, near Hull, and Risby was also North East Region Winner in the Small Builder Category

Richard Burridge from Holmfirth was the regional winner for the North East in NHBC’s Single Plot category, for site managing the construction of Marsh House in Scholes.

Richard, of Burridge Homes Ltd, started as a joiner at 16, and has been regional champion twice before.
